A
Note from Sergio
With the transit
strike in full effect, few people will be able
to finish their holiday shopping—subway
trains are parked deep in the tunnels, buses
are locked up in their stations, and it's impossible
to catch a cab. You probably don't want to trudge
around the city with a dozen bags dragging you
down, so I'm offering a few suggestions for
beautiful gifts that you can buy from home.
IWM gift certificates are a
great, simple way to give someone a taste of
Italy. They start at $25 and may be used to
purchase wine, glasses, antique corkscrews,
and books. Within hours of your order, we'll
email the recipient with a personalized message
from you and his or her gift certificate.
A membership to one of our wine
clubs lasts from three months to a year. Each
club is tailor-made to suit a different level
of wine lover—from the novice to the collector.
One day after you place your order, we'll mail
out a gift card, a welcome kit, a book, and
a box full of wine, producer and tasting notes,
and glasses.
We're also now offering a sneak
preview of our online store, which is partially
completed but fully functional. We plan to make
continuous improvements and additions to the
site, but for now, it will allow you to view
and buy a range of IWM wines and products.
I hope these options help ease
the stress of both the transit strike and last
minute holiday shopping.
My best,
Sergio Esposito
