Argiano Solengo
In the heart of Montalcino, home of Tuscany's world-famous Brunello, the Argiano estate blends this Super Tuscan from equal contributions of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
The bright ruby body laced with purple inflections offers a vibrant nose of mature dark berries, underbrush, animal hide and charcoal. The palate stuns with thick, complex layers of blackberries, creme de cassis, vanilla and toasted pecans. The luxuriously ripe texture is agreeably framed by firm tannin, sufficient acidity and balanced alcohol. Distinctly Italian. Decidedly sophisticated.

Italy Takes On the World
