A Full Range of Machines for the Vineyard
Currently
on the market are a number of machines designed to simplify work
and to alleviate some of the difficulties in the vineyard. But
the question everyone is asking is whether these machines will
function as intended out in the fields. The only way to find
the answer, of course, is to see them in action, and the last
opportunity to do this was provided by Enovitis, the International
Exhibition of Technology for Viticulture.
This installment of the biannual event took place
in Bolgheri-Donoratico, in the region of Tuscany, with the charming
backdrop of the Tenuta
Guado al Tasso vineyards of Marchesi
Antinori, one of the oldest
vintners in the world and a leader in production and marketing of
fine Italian wine. An impressive audience was in attendance to see
4,000 participants and more than 80 brands that ran the gamut of
products for viticulture. This opportunity to see the new innovations
in equipment in such an effective and efficient way is an important
partner to the traditional indoor exposition and now seems indispensable
for any busy producer.
