2001 Barolo Tasting in Torino
The annual Enoteca della Regione tasting of the new
Barolo release (2001)
will take place in Torino, September 15, 16, and 17, 2005, Palazzo
Barolo, Via della Orfane 7, Torino, 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. More than
100 producers, each of them a member of the Enoteca, the Regional
Association of Barolo Producers, will present their wines. See

This year's event is expected to be well attended:
not only is the 2001 vintage the first of the new millennium, but
many believe it to be one of the best in recent memory, rivaling that
of 1996.
The event also includes Lezioni di Barolo or "Barolo
Lessons," a guided tasting of the 1999, '00, and '01 vintages,
as well as Barolo Chinato.
