Toscana: The Battle For Greatness

Approximately 50 guests attended the IWM seminar, Toscana: The Battle For Greatness. Hosted by Sergio Esposito, this unique event featured prestigious reds, from the old guard to the newly emerging wines of sunny Toscana.

The tasting and seminar included 12 wines personally selected by Sergio. The crowd was particularly wowed by Enrico Fossi's Vignavento, a barrique-aged Sangiovese opulent in rich extract and dense texture. For many, the 1986 Castell 'In Villa was a particular treat - the oldest wine many had ever tasted!
