Tasting Notes:
2000: This Barolo is made from grapes taken from the historic “Sorì Ginestra” vineyard and is aged no less than three years. Garnet red shields a reticent yet spicy nose of deep red fruit and violets. A lush, meaty palate with notes of licorice. Serious tannins and great balance carry through a long finish. This fruit-forward vintage allows for sampling now, but a little patience will bring more depth. Drink 2004-2015.
