Dolceacqua
- made from the Rossese grape, this wine has been famous since
a visit by Napoleon in 1805. Rich with a great depth of flavor
and bouquet, it is similar in style to a Beaujolais.
Cinqueterre - the wine from the five fishing villages near the
town of La Spezia. Unfortunately, the wine rests on laurels gained
long ago and now this white, made from the Bosco, Albarola and
Vermentino grapes, has little color and almost neutral flavor and
odor.
Pigato del Albenga - a rich white wine made from the pigato grape,
it is extremely floral and fragrant with hints of fennel.
